Born and bred in the Land of Lincoln
Matthew “Matt” Haiduk is originally from Chicago’s southern suburbs. Born into a typical south-side Polish family, Haiduk grew up spending time playing basketball, football, baseball, hockey… and any other sport that a kid could play. When not wrapped up in sports, he could be found fishing or wandering the northwoods of Wisconsin.
As a result of his family relocating, Matt attended High School in the western suburbs. After High School, Matt undertook studies in Philosophy at one of the top ranked Philosophy departments in the country at Northern Illinois University. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1996, Matt went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate degree from the DePaul University College of Law.
Matt still lives in the western suburbs, so he can focus his practice in the western and northwestern suburban court systems. When not in court or working for his clients, Matt spends time fishing, watching/playing sports and racing bicycles. He considers his ability to dunk a basketball to be among his greatest non-legal achievements.
Licensed to practice law in all courts in Illinois.
He is or has been also licensed for the following:
- Federal Court (General Bar)
- Federal Court (Appeals)
- State Court (any court, anywhere, any time)
- Driving a motor vehicle in the State of Illinois
- Fishing (Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arkansas)
- Category 3 Bicycle Racing (USAC, ABR)
